YOUTH POPULAR CULTURE INSTITUTE, INC. (YPCI)

Established in 1985 as the Thandi’s Place Productions 501C 3 corporation and then YPCI in 1999, we remain a research, development, communications technology and production company committed to the intellectual, emotional, and spiritual health and social welfare of at- promise young people worldwide.

Mission

Reinforcing the value of young people that are most marginalized, and their unique cultures, in ways that assist in improving health and education related outcomes.

Doing a better job with youth popular culture in education and health by transforming basic research and evidence-based practices (adaptive, cultural, scientific and intuitive) into applied technologies, special events, programs and marketable products that work for children, youth, families, communities, professionals and other stakeholders who interact with and in the best interest of young people.
